Frequently asked questions
H&S Prequalification and Certification FAQs
What is SiteWise?
SiteWise is an independent H&S prequal provider that Ryman are using to manage the H&S prequalification assessments for our contractors.
Why do I need SiteWise?
Ryman Healthcare require all contractors carrying out work on Ryman sites to hold a valid H&S prequalification that has assessed each contractor companies H&S systems and processes. Your overall score or rating is based on how good your systems/processes are.
What if my score is below 75%?
Ryman Healthcare require all contractors to have Sitewise Green which is a score of 75% or above. If your score is lower, then you can supply additional evidence to SiteWise to have reassessed and improve your score.
Can I use another Health & Safety prequal provider?
Yes, we accept any equivalent providers of H&S prequal systems such as SHE365, Impac, ISN, ISO45001 and more, just get in touch and we can let you know.
What is the difference between SiteWise and SiteSafe?
SiteWise is an independent review of your company’s current H&S systems and processes that are in place. A SiteSafe passport is confirmation that an individual worker has completed a H&S course and has good knowledge of H&S and keeping themselves & others safe.
Who needs a SiteSafe passport?
If you are working at a construction site each worker needs an individual SiteSafe passport to enter the site. We also accept equivalent individual passport equivalents aswell.
